How to Setup SANS

Recommended Posts

Setting up SANS is considerable really easy, but hard for others. This tutorial shows you how to do this. Please note, these instructions may not be the same for other sources, but for majority of them.

You will need the following:

  • A cPanel Server/Linux Hosting
    • EqilHost
    • InfinityFree
  • Access to create databases & phpMyAdmin
  • Access to FTP or an online file manager
  • PHP 5.6 or higher

If you have them, you can follow these instructions:

  1. Download the source you need from the downloads section. Make sure it has the database with it.
  2. Go to cPanel and create a database, e.g:
    example_sans

You will also need to make a database user and password. Make sure the username is the same as the database name. Note down the details, as you will need this.

  3. Upload the files into your website and in the directory. In this example, I'll upload it in public_html.

  4. Open the following files:

    1. Global.php

    2. filter.php

    3. Anti-SQL.php/AntiSQL.php

  5. Where you find this line of code:

    <?php

    $connection = mysql_connect("localhost","example_db","password123")
    mysql_select_db("example_db")

      ?>

Replace them with your database details and do the same for each file mentioned above.

  6. Visit your website. It should be working properly. If it looks messy, maybe there's a problem with the CSS. If it's redirecting to another site, maybe something in the Global.php or .htaccess is causing it.

I hope this helped you, and good luck with your new site!

That's fine. If it's not there, you don't need to set that file up.

I don't think that you have to credit for World2Build.

Does this apply with "Avatar.php" aswell?

If it includes database details like the code example then yes.
